Often, when using a Boxberry pickup point, the parcel is handed over with the mark “without opening.” At the same time, employees of pick-up points claim that it depends on the sender. Previously, when placing orders at IM, I somehow didn’t particularly bother about same-day delivery and other nuances. This time, I was really pressed for time, because it dawned on me to order a gift for my husband on the Internet only a week before this event. At the same time, the store where I placed the order, unfortunately, cooperated only with Russian Post and Boxberry. I chose delivery to a pickup point, the control deadlines of which were indicated as 5 days for my city.

So, my order was transferred for delivery on 11.11, which the online store notified me about. This is actually where my story begins.

On November 12, I received an email indicating the approximate arrival date was November 15. I breathed a sigh of relief because my husband’s birthday is November 16th.

At the same time, no messages were received from Boxberry via SMS notification to the phone. The letter stated that the status of the parcel can be tracked on the website of this delivery service, which I decided to use closer to 11/15. And I was pleasantly surprised, because the estimated delivery date was the 14th.


To celebrate, I began to wait for an SMS notification of delivery on the morning of the 14th, but I was not at all upset when I did not receive it, thinking that it should definitely be delivered on the 15th.

By the evening of November 15, I began to get nervous and called the consultant on the hotline, as a result of which I learned two facts:

  • Firstly, delivery is carried out only in workers days;
  • Secondly, between the 11th and 15th there were two days off, and although the automatic delivery time calculation program counted them as “useful” days, see “firstly”.

But wait a minute, how was I supposed to guess about workdays?

  • Thirdly, the operator hung up on me for some reason and stopped communicating with me unilaterally instead of standard phrases like “Can I help you with anything else”, “Do you have any questions?” On the one hand, it is clear that I am writing with complaints and also irritate the consultants, but on the other hand, it is unpleasant when they break off the dialogue halfway through the conversation and do not want to bear responsibility.

Honestly, I would even give up on the incorrectly working Boxberry delivery service, since I realized that I couldn’t get anything else out of them, if not for one thing:

Someone clearly worked some magic on the package tracking page, apparently so that my claims were groundless. As a result (without notice) The last statute changed from the 14th to the 16th and read the following:

The pickup point department, where the order should have been received within 1 working day, starting from now, is open until 19:00 on weekdays. The hope of receiving the parcel today was growing weaker.

At 18:30 I decided to perform a status check through the operators, and lo and behold, at 18:43 the consultant wrote to me that the order was waiting for me at the pickup point.

Since I live not far from this pick-up point, I rushed as fast as I could. I made it. Only because I received the order on the 16th, I give Boxberry one more star than I planned.

By the way, I received an SMS notification about the arrival of the order at the pickup point only at 20:37, and an email notification at 20:24. Efficiency is off the charts...

So, I would like to summarize my story:

☑ The specified delivery times when sending the goods and the actual ones do not match;

☑ Boxberry does not bear any responsibility for late delivery of an order;

☑ Parcel tracking does not work correctly, which Boxberry does not notify in advance;

☑ On the main page, on the tracking page, on the information page for sending parcels, information that the process of transportation and delivery of parcels to the pickup point is carried out only on weekdays, No;

☑ Operator-consultants cannot help in solving the problem, explaining everything either by incorrect operation of the site, or by apologizing, or by trying to blame Boxberry’s “jambs” on online stores;

☑ The delivery speed in the end was no less than that of Russian Post, for example, parcels from Moscow sent by mail often arrive in a shorter time;

☑ Changes in estimated delivery dates after the original deadlines have expired, with no notification of either the change itself or the reasons for it;

☑ The parcel still arrived within the specified timeframe, safe and sound.

There is no desire to use the Boxberry delivery service in the future until they display the information and deadlines correctly. And the quiet change in the expected delivery time from 14 to 16 after my promise to highlight this situation on review sites makes me think about the dishonesty of the SD. Decide for yourself whether it’s worth contacting this service or not, but I definitely don’t recommend it.

You can receive your parcel at any point for issuing orders from the Boxberry delivery service. If there are several points in your city, you can choose the one most convenient for you: on the company’s website you can find a complete list of branches indicating the address, phone number and work schedule. Using filters, you can select offices that are open seven days a week, based on non-cash payments and other parameters.
